Science has not disappointed us. There is no doubt that science has aided in the creation of inventions that have harmed people and has been used to justify bad things done but it has also surpassed our expectations and has greatly improved our lives. Ultimately, it depends on the individual who uses science. People can control whether science benefits or harms us. Hence, if anything or anyone has disappointed us it should be us, people.
Firstly, science has greatly improved our lives in terms of our standard of living. Science has allowed for easier communication between families living in different countries. The knowledge of science led to the development of Information Communication Technology and the creation of the internet. As a result, families in different parts of the world are able to see each other up close and personal through the use of web cameras. This surpasses the use of mere telephones as people feel more at ease being able to see for themselves how their loved ones are fairing. People now need not have to ride an airplane to see their loved ones. This helps people maintain their relationships with their families despite being apart. This makes for happier families and hence the standard of living of these people improves. Therefore, science has not disappointed us.

Good Intro. The examples used in your paragraphs however, could be beefed up.

Science has not disappointed us. This is because the problems arising from the application of science comes from human’s misuse. Science could be used to benefit or harm people. An example would be carbon emissions. Though excessive carbon emissions have resulted in global warming, increased carbon emissions have been necessary for economic growth which indirectly leads to an increase in the standards of living. However, the problem of carbon emissions could be solved by science. Currently, there are alternative energy sources that emit little or no carbon that are being developed. It can be argued that these measures may not be enough to reverse the damage done to the environment. However, it cannot be denied that science has brought about increased standards of living and provides hope to mitigate the damage done. In Denmark and Norway, there is alternative energy sources developed but they need substantial research and testing before it can be feasible in other countries. Therefore, the advancement of science should be encouraged as it could potentially solve problems brought about by human’s mismanagement of resources. This means that science has not disappointed us. You have something good going on here, however your ideas are everywhere - somewhat disorganised. You need to think it through again. See me if you can't think of how you might organise your points better.

Science is the knowledge of understanding many things around us in and out of this world. It does not disappoint us but to the contrary, it greatly improved our lives.

After many theories of science being published, we apply them to invent many things that greatly convenience us. Like the invention of the light bulb by Thomas Edison, based on his research on that area, he was able to come out with this invention, which allows us to manufacture many light bulbs, and applying it all around the streets and even at home, enabling us to have activities even in the night like socializing, compared to the past where nothing much can be done after the sun sets. It is also brighter and more efficient than the candle or kerosene lamp, which was commonly used before the invention of the light bulb. This has made living conditions more convenient and comfortable. Thus, science has not disappointed us as it had greatly improved our vision during dark times of the day with the invention of light bulbs. Nathanael

One line intro?!
Your paragraph is led by examples - you need to craft an argument first. Your examples justify your arguments.

Science is the knowledge of many things around us. However, to determine if science has disappointed us we must first consider various aspects such as has science brought us more problems than solutions, or has it helped us understand the world better? Not forgetting whether science has helped us improve of standards of livings or is it us humans who misused the technology. I do not agree that science has disappointed us as science is just knowledge and it is us who misuse it.

Science has not disappointed us as we decide the application of science in our daily life. Such as the invention of weapon the predator, which is a remote controlled airplane. We can learn the knowledge of how to operate the predator, however whether is it for good cause or bad cause depends on the intention of the controller. If the intent of the controller is to attack other countries, then it is not science who has disappoint us as it only made combat more sophisticated. Thus, science has not disappointed us.

Science is the knowledge of the world compiled by us through numerous research and studies on the natural world to helps us to better understand the world. Therefore we would definitely expect that science would be able to help us alleviate, if not solve, all of our problems. However, science has brought out many new problems that harder to solve than the original problems that we tried to solve with science.
The applications of science to try and improve the way we work have often resulted in side effects that are worse than the original problem that we tried to solve with science. Trinitrotoluene or T.N.T. as it is more commonly known, which was created by Sir E.D. Nobel was employed into military use which resulted in millions of deaths in wars around the globe. Science has disappointed us as in wars before the explosives came into the picture, soldiers are rarely crippled as the bullets have to hit the vital points such as the lower back, but with explosives, soldiers easily lose their limbs if they just happened to near the site of explosions and this has made wars even more ghastly than it ever was.

Science is the knowledge of the world of nature.Over the years, science had proven to the world how and why things happen in a certain manner. In the event of this phenomenon, many beliefs, specifically faith religion had been disproved by facts shown by science.Hence, science has helped us understand the world better. It has also helped in advancing technology that has improved human’s standard of living. Moreover, science has brought many solutions to our existing problems. However, the main concern is that science has been misused. There are people who used science to bring harm to others. Therefore, science did not disappoint us,it is humans who have misused it.

Science has helped to improve our quality of life by boosting our healthcare standards. In recent decades, medical science advancement had generally provided humans a higher life expectancy rate and a lower infant mortality rate. This means that diseases and illnesses can be cured easier to give humans a more comfortable life.Biomedical science had enabled man to clone human insulin gene into bacterial cells where it is further proliferated to be injected into diabetic patients. This is a type of medical treatment science had provided to aid diabetic patients. However, humans have also misused science by using the same scientific method to create harmful drugs which can damage man’s body system. Therefore, science has improve our quality of life but it is man who misused it that can endanger ourselves.

The knowledge from science(s) has provided(v) us(o) with solutions to our problems such as inconvenience of travelling. It(s) has(v) resulted in technology(o) that is crucial as it leads to many areas of discovery such as internet and smart phones. However science(s) is(v) not flawless as it comes with problems(o) when humans misuse the application of science. This(s) is(v) because science(o) is out of control, if humans overuse the knowledge gained from science, this brings about more problems then benefits that human can imagine. I(s) personally feel(v) that science(o) has not disappointed us, it is the humans that have disappointed us by abusing the knowledge of science.

Science(s) has greatly improved(v) our standard of living(o) in many aspects. Through science(s), humans discover(v) medicine(o) which benefits and may potentially harm humans if there is a misuse. This(s) helped(v) in the healthcare sector(o), where patients’ health improves after consuming medication that are prescribed specifically to them. This(s) saves(v) lives(o) of many as if there wasn’t the discovery of medicine, patients would die due to their various illnesses without a cure. However humans(s) abuse(v) this discovery(o) of medicine by using the knowledge of science to create harmful drugs such as marijuana and heroin. These drugs(s) are harmful(v)l to the human body(o) as it damages the heart and brain. As science(s) is out of control it is not able to deny(v) the invention of these substances(o). Therefore this depicts that humans(s) are the ones that disappointed(v) us by creating harmful drugs(o) in the name of science.

In recent decades, the world has placed increasing emphasis on science for its potent ability to solve many of the world's most pressing issues such as global warming and poverty. Governments are devoting greater amounts of resources to invest in research and development in hopes to benefit humankind and improve the quality of people's lives. However, it is precisely due to science's potency to allow it to be both beneficial and detrimental to society's welfare, sparking off a controversial debate as to if science brings about more benefits or destruction. In my opinion, I feel that it is grossly unfair to lay the blame on science for the damages it has cost to man. After all, science is merely a tool and man the agent, thus the problem that arise from science is largely due to man's misuse and mismanagement.

One problem in which science has attempted to solve is global warming. Global warming have alerted countries to develop alternative sources of cleaner energy so as to reverse the trend of climate change. Albert Einstein's Nobel-Prize winning formula, E=MC2 has opened a new gateway for mankind to harness an immense amount of energy from splitting of an atom to generate power. This is later known as nuclear energy. Nuclear energy has been touted as the answer to cleaner sources of energy as it has non-polluting by-products and a high efficiency rate of 80%. However, who would have known that Einstein's formula could have led to the foundation of the Manhattan Project, which ultimately saw the development of nuclear weaponry capable of massive destruction. Taking the explosion of the world's first atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II as example, many innocent lives of Japanese civilians were sacrificed and children born after the war suffered physical deformities due to the effects of nuclear radiation when they were still in their mother's womb. Thus is is unfair to say that science has disappointed us as nuclear technology was first discovered for the good of the world as a form of non-polluting energy in attempt to alleviate the problem of global warming, but mankind has chose to acquire this technology for selfish and inhumane desires instead. Hence science is not to blame and has not disappointed us but rather it is mankind that is flawed and has disappointed us.
